Saint Andrew’s awards grants twice each year to local nonprofits with monies primarily raised through our resale store, The Echo Shop, and also from income generated by legacy gifts. For more than 60 years, our downtown Saratoga store, staffed with community volunteers, has donated 100% of the profits to charitable social service organizations in Santa Clara County, generating more than $2.5 million.
These community nonprofits support critically needed services, like helping those who are homeless or have cancer, children in foster homes, and victims of domestic violence. Our Community Grant Committee determines which organizations will receive funds after reviewing grant applications in May and October.
