Doors open at 7pm

A highlight of the music program at West Valley College, the Concert Choir is the main ensemble for voice majors and is open to others by audition. Under the direction of Lou De La Rosa, the choir explores the canon of choral literature over the ages and across cultures with each new program. This concert also features special guests, including the West Valley College Chamber Singers.

Over the past several years, they have performed such masterpieces as the Handel Messiah, Bach Magnificat, Vivaldi Gloria, Mozart Coronation Mass, Mozart Requiem, Beethoven Symphony No. 9 Ode to Joy, Schubert Mass in G, Mendelssohn Symphony No. 2 Hymn of Praise, Bruckner Te Deum, Gounod Messe Solennelle, Fauré Requiem, Duruflé Requiem, and Bernstein Chichester Psalms.

All students are free with ID. For general admission, suggested donations ($10-$20) are requested via tickets.
