Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church Vestry
Saint Andrew's lay leadership comprises an executive committee—senior warden, two junior wardens (one responsible for facilities, the other for administration), vestry, and finance committee. The financial aspect of the parish is further supported by the stewardship committee, and by the budget and endowment subcommittees, all of which have vestry representation.

Fourteen parishioners serve on Saint Andrew’s vestry, including a youth representative. The vestry is chaired by the rector, although traditionally the rector has delegated that role to the senior warden. Two full-time clergy, the parish administrator, and the parish treasurer attend vestry meetings. These meetings take place monthly. There is an annual day-long retreat for all vestry and an orientation for new members. Members of the vestry are required to assume leadership roles in other areas of parish life, specifically as chairs or liaisons on subcommittees.

The current organization of the vestry is driven by the implementation of our strategic plan, with subcommittees addressing major areas of ministry such as pastoral care, parish culture, children and youth. Within this structure, smaller working groups are created as needed for specific tasks and events, such as employee handbook updates or the fall fellowship dinner.
