The Church at Saint Andrew's Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church and School occupy a 5-acre site in Saratoga, just over one mile from the historic downtown district. This parcel is home to five structures: the 13,000-square-foot church building, a 20,000-square-foot hall (including gymnasium, commercial kitchen, performing arts platform, and classrooms), a 4,000-square-foot center (including a meeting room, nursery, restrooms, and kitchen), and two older buildings that currently house classrooms and offices for both church and school. These two buildings are slated for replacement within the next few years. The church building, consecrated in 1963, has a maximum seating capacity of 780 persons, including the choir loft and two chapels in the north and south transepts.

Designed and built over a period of three years, the church building was dedicated on Saint Andrew's Day, November 30, 1963, by the late Right Reverend James A. Pike, Bishop of California. The architect for the church was Warren B. Heid, AIA, of Saratoga. The artist/designer for the church was Mark Adams of San Francisco who worked closely with the architect on interior and exterior design, color and texture. Mr. Adams designed the interior furnishings and appointments, the mural on the east wall, the doors, and the six stained glass windows. The top of the cross on the steeple is 99 feet above the pavement. The choir loft holds a three-manual, 60-rank, 47-stop, 3,488-pipe organ.

In addition to the main property, Saint Andrew’s owns a 2-acre site on nearby Crestbrook Drive, roughly 100 yards from the main property. This site includes sports fields, outdoor basketball courts, a playground, and a field house with restrooms and storage.
